Short Supply undertook a week long residency to Venice during the Biennale from September 12th - 20th to cover and review the experience across our platforms for artists. This culminated in a 'Guide to La Biennale di Venezia' over social media, giving advice on how to make the most of a short visit to the exhibition, including the absolute must see's must misses and even top tips for navigating the city.

"The 58th International Art Exhibition, titled May You Live In Interesting Times, took place from 11th May to 24th November 2019. The title is a phrase of English invention that has long been mistakenly cited as an ancient Chinese curse that invokes periods of uncertainty, crisis and turmoil; "interesting times", exactly as the ones we live in today.

The Exhibition also includes 89 National Participations in the historic Pavilions at the Giardini, at the Arsenale and in the historic city centre of Venice. Four countries are participating for the first time at the Biennale Arte: Ghana, Madagascar, Malaysia, and Pakistan. The Dominican Republic exhibits for the first time at the Biennale Arte with its own national pavilion."

Give our Blog a look over! Mollie has written a lovely little read all about our experience over there!
