IN 2025, WE’RE STILL MAKING IT.
AND THEN REMAKING IT.
AND THEN DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN.

MAKING IT, REMAKING IT, REPEAT marks the sixth edition of MADE IT — the North West’s graduate art prize founded by Short Supply in 2019. More than an exhibition, this catalogue stands as a legacy piece for this year’s cohort — a record of their work, their voices, and the beginnings of their future creative journeys.

“If one person can make a change, what can two artists collectively pestering the art world achieve? Quite a bit, it seems.” - Ann Bukantas, Former Head of Fine Art, National Museums Liverpool

MADE IT continues to celebrate persistence, reinvention, and the strength that comes from artists working collectively to move the sector forward. That same spirit drives Short Supply and every artist who’s part of MADE IT 2025.

This publication brings together the artworks, reflections and ideas of a new generation of artists shaping what it means to ‘make it’ — not just once, but again and again. It’s a platform, a springboard, and a reminder that every act of making leads to another.

Short Supply does such important, much-needed work, the kind that fills the many gaps left by art-school education. I wish I'd had access to this kind of initiative when I was starting out in the art industry.
